A temperature of 10°c. nothing, but conquering the central part of the mountains. the Porsmork direction. At last i will have a chance to see slight- ly more green spaces which are so rarely met in iceland. the initial stage of the route has proceeded through the green hills. for good morning i have had to overcome two rivers, then they have already been equipped with a secure over- pass – there it has been significant- ly deeper, and a current has been stronger. then i have stepped in the desert area surrounded by the volcanic mountains. on the left i have seen a volcano which has constituted a reason for stopping an air traffic over europe in 2010. i have felt greater and greater cold- ness and a wind from its area. the view has been unearthly – clouds have been joining with it spherical cap covered with snow, and the whole has been completed with covered with ice rocky glacier walls. i have met less and less people on my way, and tourist groups which i have tried to avoid, have failed to keep up for a long time.
