TECHIE STUFF ELCAN Specter Dr (Su-230/pvS) is dual role sight as it allows for a quick change of the mode and zoom, according to one's needs. At 1x zoom, the shooter has a wide field of sight (26 degrees), which, in connection with the red dot illumination allows quick selection of the target and binocular aiming. the 4x zoom of limits the field of sight to 6 degrees, but makes it possible to identify target at long distances and accurately fire the gun at the distance of 600 m with additional crosshair aiming dots. swapping between those two modes is performed with moving the lever placed on the left side of the body, near the base. in the 1x mode, there are five illumination levels to choose from, adjusted with the knob on the left side of the body. by rotating the same knob in the opposite direction, we change the intensity of illumination of the crosshair. in the inner part of the adjuster includes the battery socket. it is closed with a tightened lid that has a seal and a cord, which attaches it to the body to prevent it from being lost. both adjustment ranges include settings to work with night vision devices.
