MATERIAL The basic fabric, which the set has been made of, is the soft-shell non-membrane knitted fabric, which is extensible in four directions and contains 90% of polyamide (nylon) and 10% of elastic spandex. It has a matte finish and a characteristic skew weave. The material has a factory DWR coating that provides an increased resistance to water. From the inside, the material contains a polyester lining that speeds up taking moisture from the body and transport outside the clothing. The fabric is available in two color ver- sions – in greenish gray, described by the producer as Khaki, which, in fact, is more like the American Alpha Green, as well as in dark gray, almost black – named Carbon. The fabric was developed by the company Tilak and has been successfully used in other types of high-mountain clothing. It is resistant to gusts of strong wind, breathable, and, thanks to the high con- tent of elastic, it is very flexible and does not constrain movement. The second type of fabric, used in the re- inforced parts of knees of the pants and the insertions in the inner legs, at the height of angle and seat, is an abrasion resistant fabric mixed with Kevlar fibers – its task is to protect clothing against being torn by climbing irons or sharp rocks. It must be mentioned that Tilak uses seams of the renowned company Gutermann and each five centimeters of seam has five pricks that make the seam more accurate. CLOTHING
