REPORT niGhT in The Woods tired, but satisfied with the effects of the all-day-long work, we find the previously selected place of the planned camp. there is a little time left to the nightfall, so we got to work hastily, preparing to a challenge which will be a night in the bieszczady woodland. gathering wood, and then building a palisade which protects against wind and reflects head from a bonfire is not easy, when you must ford in the hindering snow that reaches up to the halves of our calves. we come to a conclusion that we need a tent – we do not risk sleeping only in the sleeping bags on the bedding from branches and needles. we make a fire already in the total darkness. this time in the FraG ouT style! a magazine is taken out from the gun and one 9mm round is shelled from it. the pliers of the multitool are used, a round is deprived of its case, and its content lands in the elaborately prepared mound from the needles, bark and small twigs. it only takes a flint. one spark was enough and it is ready. in every one of us are hidden, under an en - casement of a civilization trumpery, animal atavisms. in this field leads Max – he uses an outstanding remodeling features of the 24mm wide-angle lens, what combined with f/1.4 provides a perfect tool for working in any lighting conditions. even with the firelight. with the flaming firelight that is stronger and stronger my resistance against the overnight stay on the snow is melting. finally, we prepare a camp-fire so that it would be possible to use the gathering glowing embers as long as it is possible. we pack in three persons to the tent, and the toughest survival man from our team – Kostek – pads an encampment for him in the hammock (!) under the poncho.
