butt stock complement the good first impressions.
The handguard and receiver are made of 7000
series aluminum. There is full-lenght monolitic
Picantinny rail with 20 MOA taper (30 MOA is also
available) for mounting optical sights in different
sizes plus night vision or thermal clip-on sights. On
3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, short rails for the oth-
er necessary equipment like WML, laser pointer, IR
illuminators, etc. might be added.
The weapon is fed with a double-stack plastic
magazine.
With match grade .338 Lapua Magnum ammu-
nition the MRAD is capable of 0.5 MOA accuracy
at a distant of up to 1500 meters. With standard
ammunition the accuracy drops to 1 MOA. During
shooting the MRAD was equipped with Leupold
Optics Mark 4 LR/T 4.5-14x50mm M1 sight with
Mil-Dot reticle.
