ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The PZL-Świdnik which celebrates in 2016 its 60-year anniversary of beginning of helicopter production is the only manufacturer of Polish-made helicopters with a full capability with regard to design, research and development, system integration, production, support and training realization, as well as helicopter modernization. Thanks to the PZL-Świdnik, Poland is one of five countries in the European Union that can boast of a capability of an independent designing, manufacturing, developing and servicing helicopters. The PZL-Świdnik employs now approximately 3300 employees, in that almost 650 engineers, and coope- rates with nearly 1000 of the Polish enterprises, generating circa 4500 additional work places in the Polish economy. The largest group is created by the partners from south-eastern Poland, in that the members of the Polish "Aviation Valley" cluster and the Lublin Cluster of Advanced Aviation Technologies. The PZL-Świdnik is one of the largest employers and tax payers in Lublin Voivodship. Since its privatization the company has paid nearly 570 million PLN of public levies to the benefit of the state and local autho- rities. Up till now, the company has manufactured and supplied more than 7 400 helicopters to the custo- mers from more than countries in the world. The PZL-Świdnik is a key partner of the Polish MoD as a part of the most important helicopter programs. In Poland serves nearly 160 helicopters manufactured in the PZL-Świdnik, additionally almost 80% of the he- licopters supplied in the recent 10 years were the machines produced in Świdnik (SW-4 , W-3PL, W-3WA in the VIP version to transport top-rank state officials).
