An end of June 2016 was very rich in the events linked to the
3rd Flotilla from Gdynia. On the occasion of the Sea Days, the
unit organized a "dynamic" show in the vicinity of the Port of
Gdynia, and an ORP General Tadeusz Kościuszko frigate left its
homeport in Gdynia on 29th June 2016, in accordance with an
order, sailing to the Mediterranean Sea.
The dynamic show on the occasion of the sea feast
was expected to be an opportunity to promote the
flotilla among the society – the phrase "was expect-
ed to be" is of the key importance, because the an-
nouncements mentioned about quite dynamic and
attractive demonstration, but it ended up as usu-
ally, that is any old how. The main heroes were an
ORP Kaszub corvette, a H-8 tugboat, a boat of the
rescue team and helicopters which belong to the
Naval Aviation Brigade. The above mentioned forc-
es were supposed to demonstrate different action
scenarios – a fire fighting and rescue operation as
