well as a search for a submarine. Unfortunately, an organizer did not ensure any comments there- fore a large gathered audience could only guess what was happening before their eyes. Moreover, the dynamic characteristics was "slowed down" as far as possible due to the security reasons (?) which restrict to a minimum its attractiveness. Regrettably, it was not for the first time, when the audience who watched the "performances" of the ships could not receive this what was fore- shown – attractive patterns should not be sought far, it is enough to have a look what the Russians do in Baltiysk. An unquestionable attraction for the specialists was an opportunity to spy a new artillery system assembled on the corvette – we talk about a 35mm automatic cannon developed by the Polish defense industry. The main carri- ers of this system are supposed to be the Kor- moran-class destroyers, although on the Kaszub it will undergo the sea trials. After finishing them, it will remain on this unit on the permanent basis. The ORP General Tadeusz Kościuszko frigate left its homeport in Oksywie. The unit was directed for two months to enforce the SNMG-2 group which operates in the Mediterranean Sea waters. Nowa- days, it main task consists in sealing a sea border of the European Union and preventing from a flow of illegal immigrants. Beside an employed crew, on the board was a combat group of the Formo- za naval special operations unit and a personnel of the Naval Aviation Brigade. – the frigate took on it one of the multitask ship-based helicopter Ka- man SH-2G Seasprite. In the Mediterranean Sea, the ship will join the alliance units which belong to the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Greece and Turkey.
