the south Europe. A presence of the vessel in this part of the world is connected with a policy of the Ministry
of National Defense, which on the day before a NATO Summit in Warsaw began three operations in the Middle
East region. Besides the ORP General Tadeusz Kościuszko to Kuwait were escor four Lockheed Martin F-16C/D
Falcon multirole fighter aircraft which will perform reconnaissance missions against the Islamic fundamen-
talists, and to Iraq was directed a special forces element which will train the Iraqis. As far as the round of the
ship is expected to last until September, the remaining forces will stay in the region till the end of this year.
