receiving my request. The new one does not seem to have that problem, so let's consider that as an individ- ual unique situation. I need to mention that the first flashlight was from very early series. The manufactur- er claimed that the fault of the assembly was identified and eliminated in next series of that product. The next problem was related to Streamlight TLR-1's – two different lights, two different defects. One flash- light stopped working, while the second one switched on at completely random moments. My doubts were slightly bigger on that matter, because I have owned those flashlights for a long time and the guarantee expired. However, I decided to make a try and I wrote an e-mail to the distributor. To my astonishment, I re- ceived a reply message just after a dozen of minutes. The serviceman asked me to send them the flash- lights so that they can solve the problem. I don't know whether it was caused by the complexity of repairs or other reasons, but I sent the flashlights to the distrib- utor and got them back after 4-5 weeks... The longer the repairs took, the smaller my hope was to get them back repaired. When I finally received them, then, I was shocked. What was left from my faulty flashlight was the body with serial number and the assembly rail – all the other elements had been replaced. The www.fragoutmag.com
