thick notches located at the batten for a thumb, which in both models are too aggressive and when pressed strongly make a slight discomfort. HAnDlE The knives have steel liners with rather deeply drilled lightening holes, what is of great importance, par- ticularly in the case of the Resilience, which with really large dimensions has achieved a quite good weight 154 g (Tenacious weights 117 g – rather in standard). The liner have been made from the black G10 with a rather smooth texture. They are beveled at the edges what gives a nice visual effect and prevents from stitching into the skin by the grip edg- es. A four-position clip constitutes a great advantage which enables to carry the knife in the preferred posi- tion. The "Spyders" have not lacked the holes for reev- ing a line, either. From my point of view, in terms of ergonomics the Tenacious is better, although in relation to its evalua- tion of this factor a palm size is of great importance. In the small hand, it falls into place very comfortably, its short belly significantly improves a grip in this rel- atively thin hand (in the case of the Resilience it is more extruded so that a small finger does not reach to the excavation at the end of the liners). Both knives are equipped with a nicely profiled incision under the index finger, unfortunately in this section a certain discomfort is felt due to the steps, filed on the leaf of the liner lock (too sharp, similarly as in the case of the batten on the blade spine). The lock itself works without any objections, although also in this respect, the Resilience, in which liner works harder and locks deeper, presents minimally worse. Fitting of the hand elements is not bad, I have not noticed any interspaces on the connection made of G10 steel, however plastic slightly protrudes beyond the liners, what is particularly notice- able from the head of the liners and is re- lated to both described knives.
