NEXTER Systems together with Renault Truck Defense
showed 6x6 Griffon VBMR multi-role armored vehicle deve-
loped for the French Armed Forces. Most probably, the export
version will soon be announced. The main armament is mo-
unted in RCWS – 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun or 40mm
automatic grenade launcher. The vehicle will be protected by
GALIX system plus modular armor. French forces are plan-
ning to procure at least 1722 vehicles in APC version which
can carry up to eight troops.
ST Kinetics from Singapore exhibited 30 tonnes 8x8 Terrex 2 IFV as an example
of complete vehicle family (Terrex 1, 2 and 3) which were developed according with USMC
Amphibious Combat Vehicle Program requirements. Terrex 3 will be also offered in Australian
Land 400 Phase 2 program for the combat reconnaissance vehicle. During the Eurosatory, the
ST Kinetics representatives announced that pair of test Terrex 3 vehicles were sent to Australia.
