Rifle has a separated fire selector switch
and safety switch. Classic AK-style safe-
ty lever is located on the right and three
mode selector switch is on the left. Shooter
can choose between single, three-shot
burst and full auto modes. The burst is just
Beryl's legacy – in most of the modern ri-
fles the burst mode was removed as the
quick single shot is more effective.
During my time with M762, the fire selector
switch had switched accidentally several
times – it has catch my gear. I think it could
be easily removed as it lacks of ergonomics.
It should be worth to mention that M762
variant with standard AK-style fire selector
and safety switch exists.
