Day 3 Range Day The last day included operations with live rounds at the shooting range. The guys from the Stronghold Group came in the morning in order to build an improvised killing house – although a killing room description suits better. It was one room with two doors which allowed for mapping what we did without live rounds during the last two days. The day, as befitted to a shooting training, began from a briefing and reminding the safety rules, after which we smoothly moved to shooting. At first, what is understandable, Eli wanted to see what was a level of the trainees before they "went into the rooms". Not going into details, the level was strongly average, we used the rifles of the AR-15 system, mainly PWS and BCM rifles. It was a novelty for a part of the course participants, because they mostly shot from the automatic rifles. However, even such an inconvenience did not disturb in conducting the further part of the training, because Eli quickly adjusted an exercise level to this what was represented by the trainees and everybody received this what was adequate to his skills. After individual shooting using the target-focused shooting technique we started to move in the 2-men sections and conduct simultaneous fire. Only after mastering those elements, the course participants were allowed to start "slicing", enter into the rooms and rescue hostages ;) www.fragoutmag.com
