Target tracking and location and fire control unit module of Rheinmetall MANTIS
VSHORAD system. It consists of tracking radar, location radar and surveillance
payload with day-time and thermal camera plus laser range finder. The optional optical
target location and tracking system might be employed as a backup. Typical MANTIS system
consist of C4I module, FCU module,, up to four revolver guns and one or two missile module.
Every MANTIS module has its own power supply.
Skyshield systems might be additionally completed with VSHORAD missile
module with autonomous optoelectronic target tracking and location system.
