correct and stable inserting of the earbud in the ear. Admittedly, the retainers a little bit does not fit to the eyewear, but there is no drama, in particular with the ones compatible with headsets which comes with thin tempels. A plastic puller is intended for an exact adjustment of the wires – it is better to fit them carefully so that nothing swings or handicaps. The earphone wires can be led backwards, on your back – I do so in a situation when the external devices are not connected. The wires can be also led forwards, with a microphone under your neck, when we have added, e.g. a phone. I always led them forwards, the most often routing them under my T-shirt. From my point of view it is an optimal manner. The control unit is most often placed in the trousers, in the left hip or cargo pocket . Sometimes I fix it from outside, sometimes from inside – in the latter case when I expect a higher level of dynamics or positions changes. It is more certain, because the metal clip is soft and it does not keep very strongly. There is no comparison with the C4OPS, where you must make efforts even to fit it in … It is the weakest element of the Clarus PRO. The control unit itself is not inconvenient – it is small, light, generally you forget that you wear hearing protectors. And the active ones. Controlling – slightly bothering, but I can manage. I would rather prefer to have two buttons (upwards and downwards), but it would enlarge dimensions of the kit. After all, you can get accustomed to clicking through five settings, there is no drama. A lack of button lock is more troublesome to me – it would be good to have it, because sometimes it happens to me to readjust voice volume while changing my position or the other activities. Apparently, not too frequently, but still. Noise canceling level – without any compliant. There is no need to write too much, it is super. Sound quality from the external devices – brilliant. It is really pure, explicit sound, and a phone call, even at the shooting range, makes no problem. The electronic system sometimes gets a little bit crazy when there is a great number of shooters who shot at the same time from the various types of the weapon, but it results only a momentary (one, up to two seconds) change of the audio tone (not he volume level!), after that a situation comes back to the norm. Such actions happen very rarely – apart from them is really super! A battery life is as the manufacturer declares, and a back-up battery cell in the case is a really great idea. To sum up – the almost perfect hearing protectors, my favorite ones. According to me they are a perfect combination of their weight, dimensions, functionality, protection level and sound quality. They cost $250. A lot? And how much are the hearing protectors with a possibility of providing a phone call? I would recommend them. HEARING PROTECTION
