ProceDures are the constant manners in which we act or
react for certain events. They are intended to simplify, speed up
or implement proper level of safety repeated actions and ease
the cooperation between units in the case of mutual support or
security of operation. Identified procedures are always the same
and usually approved by higher lever of command. .
exAmPle:
Platoon X has to take ground area target that consist of 6 small
buildings in order to search them.
Platoon leader after carrying METT-C analyze decides in what
order the buildings will be checked, who will be responsible for
making outside cordon by blocking the access roads, who and
where will gather POW and WIA, what depending's and operating
sequences will appear at the approach phase and withdraw etc. So
correlations between specific fireteams, enemy and terrain that he
will establish we can call the operation tactic (tactical maneuver).
For fireteam leaders, it will be important how to fulfill capturing
maneuver and clearing designated buildings will use of his soldiers,
that is, who, what, and how will be doing.
Techniques in the following example we call methods that the
soldiers will use to get into the building (leader, breaching doors)
and methods of clearing next doors (explosive method, by the use
of grenades, scanning and so called room clearing and so on).
