Procedures may concern the strict rules of process with POWs, detected IEDs or mines etc. Additionally we can use procedures to improve system of support and security of the operation in the reach of making request for information, equipment, weaponry, transport support as well during the fight as on the phase of preparation and reconstruction of combat readiness after the operation. Taking into consideration cited example and debate about tactics, techniques and procedures with all proper credit one has to claim that the transformation process for the NATO standards go not the way it supposed to go. Unfortunately, despite many joint training exercises, and special courses and studies we are still stuck at deep chaos. NATO standards became only an overlay onto the old standards with roots from the Warsaw Pact. New standards exist only in those places where significant lacks from previous system is. Although in the areas where some king of post-Warsaw Pact model exist, NATO standards does not function at all or became caricature of what it supposed to be and what function it supposed to fulfill. Talking about operational standards we cannot forget about training system solutions as well. Training to reach combat readiness is far from effective and it is hard to find high standard in the military training, and fitting what we teach to assume combat readiness reach. Same as military, every kind of "paramilitary guys" main training pressure are lying on the single and specialist soldier training. Analyzing programs and training plans we can get the feeling that key abilities to win in the fight are survival and medical training Amount of organized by many kind of military and paramilitary formations courses like SERE and TCCC totally overshadow other important skills.
