It's well-balanced combination of quality and price. It is lack- ing any advanced support systems or extensive electronics that replace the driver in the control over the vehicle. At a reasonable price, you get a spacious, simple, and well-de- signed car that perfectly fits in the urban environment. What is interesting, the car shares the same DNA with Outlander and good ol' of off-road masters, the Pajero and L200 pick-up. The 2017 ASX we tested gained our respect because it managed to take us out of a difficult situation. When we were driving to the military training area, we took the wrong turn and instead of a "civilized" forest trail, we ended up on a "tank road" used by heavy vehicles that weigh ridiculously more than ASX.
