known from Ops-Core helmets. The MTEK design team decided to chose Magpul M-LOK, which popularity is recently growing rapidly – the side enables attachment of the same accessories that can be attached to firearms. Tt should be highlighted that M-LOK was recommended in March 2017 by USSOCOM as the best attachment system for firearms accessories. This means that the number of M-LOK compatible components will be increasing. The side rail of FLUX has three M-LOK slots (two vertical in the front part and one in the slanted back part), a socket for attaching an O2 mask (Para-Flite PHAOS or Carleton Phantom®) or an additional ballistic element protecting the area of the ear or the ear and the cheek, a set of tie downs points that can be used for routing wires or dummy cords, and a bungee with a hook to secure and stabilize NVD's. The rails are ribbed on the inside in order to ruggedize their structure. The last part of the MTEK FLUX is front shroud for night vision or thermal vision devices, or other devices, like compatible flashlights. The MTEK decided to choose Wilcox Industries L4 56100G34 shroud as a standard. The shroud is the largest piece of metal found helmet, but still remains hybrid construction with glass-reinforced polymer frame frame designed in order to decrease total weight and the machined/anodized aluminum mount interface. L4 shroud has standard WARCOM three- point attachment. As in the case of the rails, the socket was not screwed into the shell, but to a spacer that is fixed to the shell with adhesive. The socket is compatible with various types of arms – Wilcox ones, as well as Norotos, Cadex or USGI AN/ PVS-14. ACCESSORIES Apart from rails and shroud, there is also a real estate of Velcro loop fixed to the shell which can be used for attaching strobes, cameras, flashlights or IFF's or morale patches. The MTEK expected that users would like to use FLUX helmets with rail mounted communication headsets attached to the rails instead of neckband or headband headsets. They immediately offered an adapter for ARC mounts for 3M/Peltor Comtac HEADWEAR
