Lotos about Innox So far, I have been an enthusiast of single model of LOWA boots, which I have always associated with comfort and professional us- ers. LOWA Zephyrs, because those are the boots I have in mind, have satisfied all my practical and „swag" needs for last three years. The sit- uation changed in March 2017 when I got those fan- cy sneakers in MultiCam pattern from a „pair of good hands". It appeared that it is possible to combine comfortable sneakers and tactical boots! You already like the boot at your first glance. After first touch, you are surprised they are so lightweight. The first time your feet visit the boots... and there is another mira- cle – just as if the boots were made just for you. And that is because LOWA Task Force Innox are specially for you! When you put them on for the first time, you feel that with these boots are snug, you can do anything you like (ok, maybe almost anything). INNOXes are solid, very flexible, while the lacing system is stable, and it adjusts to the shape of your feet. The sole, which slightly protrudes from the outline of the boot, increases grip and stability when you walk, jump, or move. The material of the sole sort of „sticks" to the surface. I have never fell or lose my balance when making rapid movements on a wet surface. Such a cool feature, however, has its long-term price - the sole wears quickly but, so far, it is better than I thought. Despite (or thanks to?) the application of GORE-TEX Extended Comfort waterproof breathable mem- brane, the Innox are breathable and help tired feet breathe. When I tested the breathability, I drove a motorcycle and the comfort was just excellent. I wore sturdy boots with height above the ankle, but I felt as if I wore light sneakers – I must add here that the temperature was around +30oC. Besides, I have the same impression when I am walking in the city or in the field. Thanks to the material, the boots dry up pretty fast if you happen to step into a puddle or a stream. Even if the boots get completely „soaked", they will not get much heavier. Innox dry up fast. Period. And of course, the design – an important piece of information for some of you: the boots have swag and those who say otherwise simply lie. In combination with ultra-swag pr0-pants, they create a stunning mixture for anti-swaggers who will, in the depth of their souls, ask „where can I get one of those, where are they, the price doesn't matter". It will not be easy to get a pair of those, they are a so-called limited edition. Well, LOWA Task Force Innox Mid GTX are – in my opinion – a very cool option of „tactical sneakers", which are lot safer than regular sneakers. They are very comfortable, and I am not writing this because I must, but because that is simply true. Oh, something more about the looks: my taste of aes- thetics tells me that the tip of the boot is slightly too „pointy", which reminds me of a pair of gym shoes... But what difference does it make when a PRO user of Innox boots puts his foot on a narrow ladder when boarding a super tanker? INNOX GTX Mid www.fragoutmag.com
