Luminox Spec Ops Challenge 2017 powered by Tough Viking was held on 25th August in Kungliga Djurgården park in the Stockholm's city center. Nearly 3,700 competitors participated in it (i.e. such a number was set forth in the final classification, because approximately 5,000 were registered), in that almost 70 participants who started under the Luminox Team flag in na- tional teams and one team that represented the Luminox HQ. Our mate Maciej was selected as Luminox HQ Team Leader and you can read his accounts below. This was a large-scale event, prepared and completed with flying colors. The Luminox Spec Ops Challenge 2017 powered by Tough Viking enjoys a really great in- terest. It refers both to the starting competitors, specta- tors, "industry" media and sponsors, among which can be found such brands as: Jeep, Red Bull, Intersport, BMW Mini and Luminox. The media partners of the event in- cluded Men's Health, Metro and FRAG OUT! Magazine. The Luminox Team, which we were a part of, is a group of the fu…ing awesome people from all over the world, in- cluding the company employees, dealers, reps, as well as the persons who were chosen to represent the brand (in a substantial part, I cannot figure out why, they were the policemen, law enforcement or soldiers… for instance from the Royal Marine Commando). The frosting on the cake was Rob Roy, tformer Navy SEAL, who strictly co- operates with Luminox as the PT instructor and head of such events. Generally, he is a very amiable, big guy, who can joke, but also is able to discipline the undisciplined bunch of people. If necessary … The event took place from morning till late at night – in total, quite a couple of hours. After finals, you could learn that the quickest competitor covered a distance within 1:14:32, and Frag Out! representative did it within 2:49:02, ranking 2357th place. That's not bad. Just read how it was. www.fragoutmag.com
