www.fragoutmag.com Rabbit's POV i was the first to use spartan sport Wrist hr for about three or four months. I must be honest: I am not an enthusiast of strictly electronic watches and prefer those traditional ones, with hands etc. That is why my approach towards Spartan Sport Wrist HR was sort of timid. At first, I did not like it – it was just a gadget with irrelevant gimmicks. However, the more I explored its menu and discovered its capabilities, the more I was getting convinced to the whole idea of sport smartwatches. I must highlight here that those se- veral months was not enough for me to test all the functions of the smartwatch. Nay, I did not even try to do that, because there is too much of them. I started with the functions of a regular watch – nothing unusual here, apart from the option to choose the appearance of the display. Then, I di- scovered the configuration of basic details, which are required for generation of various charts, calorie consumption, and all other sport bells and whistles. We specify our age, height, weight, and it is done. However (and the manufacturer points it out as well), the data collected and visualized by the watch are only indicative – they form the average results received after relevant algorithms are applied. But still, they provide some general information. When I used the sport features during training, I had an in- sight in the number of burnt calories, my heart rate (meaning whether I would have a heart attack in the next five minutes or not), the time needed for regeneration. I could also see all of that on a colored chart. After coming back home and connecting the watch with my laptop, I could automatically input the data to my profile on Suunto website, so that I could check even more details on my training www.fragoutmag.com
