I am curious if Carinthia will expand Ultra Shirt line with products like Ultra Hoodie where hood might be made from the same material as sleeves. Well, what can I say, I like hoodies a lot! L OTOS AND HIS STORY … well, it wasn't a love at first sight. When I got it several months ago, I was thinking about it as another piece to my pile of stuff I would wear, review and throw it deep down to my wardrobe. One of them. Even a quick idea of a sneak peek where U-Shirt as a part of TIE -Fighter pilot uniform didn't convince me to test it more thoroughly. Everything was OK with the jacket: sewing quality, modern cut, materials were even almost out of space… it was rather me to be a problem here Breakthrough happened one day when I packed it, rather accidentally, and went to Mazury for a bike trip with my friends. We spent a bit rid- ing and, on our way, back I started to get my ass freezed (you know, temperature, wind etc). It was a moment when I remembered that I had it with me. IT WAS IT! I don't know for sure if it was a psychological effect or real insulation properties of this jacket but hey, it was awesome! Comfy, warm and from that mo- ment our adventure has begun U-shirt's construction started to suit me. I didn't whine on lack of pockets as I didn't need them at all as I stuff everything in my pants, Arc'teryx LEAF Courier Bag or a waistpack. Elastic sleeves don't restrict movements at all (I even think that they even keep everything in place, haha) and thin fleece on the inside is very smooth. Zipper goes up to the top form- ing rather high collar which protects neck from wind and it's really cozy. Front panel is made of flagship Carinthia insu- lation and really does it job.
