incomplete. Fortunately enough, the lens is totally smooth so you just need to wipe it bring back the clarity of reticle. The 1/2 co-witness QD mount is fixed and without height adjustment. It is rock-solid and holds zero. Sight has two buttons (+ and -) on the left side. Pressing "-" for approx. 3 seconds changes the reticle. HS510C has three different reticles; 2 MOA dot, 65 MOA ring, 65 MOA circle + 2 MOA dot. For some of you, the 65 MOA ring reticle might be a ridiculous idea, but it works well with shotguns. Reticles can be changed accordingly to user preferences. Adjustments are done with screws in the back of the body. The adjustment set- tings are on the screws. The CR2032 is placed in the tray on the right side of the body (two trays are in the kit). Another feature of HS510C is the Solar Fail Safe system which is a back- up solar power system. To activate Solar Fails Safe you need to enter automatic mode (press "+" button till the reticle with flash). The brightness of the reticle will be automatically adjusted to the external conditions, but when shooting under the roof, the reticle might me to dim. In such conditions, the manual mode is recom- mended. When in manual mode, the pow- er is sourced from battery. The Solar Fails Safe required battery to be placed in the tray to close the circuit. No battery – no fun. HS5210C also fea- tures Shake Awake which combined with Solar Fail Safe allows 50,000 hrs of run- time. HS510C is the heaviest sight we have received from Holosun. You can easily feel additional 140 grams when set on the light and short 7.5" barrel FedArm rifle (pistol?). But sight comes with du- al-power system, crisp and clear lens and rugged body resistant to 55" drop on the wooden floor (with rifle). TO SUM UP All Holosun sights met our expectations. We have been running them in rain (if it ain't raining, it ain't training) and had no problems – HS-503GU and HS510 are IP67-rated and HS515GM is IPX8. Sights survived shooting classes (different lev- els) with our students and no one had problems with use. The backup solar power system in the HS510 is quite innovative solution for power-saving and might also find in other Holosun sights. Look for 5xx and 4xx-se- ries sights with C suffix. Seems like a best solution for EDC rifles or survival rifles. They cost like 30-50% less than the big brands sights. And still, they are rugged and well-built. No loose or moving parts. Unique features (changeable reticle, au- tomatic shutdown, backup solar power) and mounts in the kit. If you have more funds to spend, you can go with Holosun Elite series sights with green LED point (more power-effective) and titanium-al- loy body. If you are looking for sight, which well- made, rugged and weather-resistant, long runtime, with some unique features plus reasonably priced, you can't go wrong with Holosun.dowanie polecamy zapoznać się z ofertę firmy Holosun. www.fragoutmag.com
