Laser pointer alone can be
used up to 75 hours.
In the upper part there is
permanent quick-detach
system with flip-le-
ver used to open
the clamp.
Light comes
with replace-
able lugs in the
mount. One is for
Glock style rails and sec-
ond is MIL-STD-1913 com-
patible. It is held by two Torx
screws, same as the ones used
for laser adjustment. Torx key is
included in the kit.
Oligth PL-2RL BALDS is IPX6 com-
pliant and has 1-meter drop resis-
tance. The weight is 146 grams, w/
batteries.
IN ACTION
For last couple of weeks I had chance
to use the Olight Valkyrie PL-2RL
BALDR during shooting classes.
It adds another tool to you sights-box:
ironsights, RMR and now red pointer.
Laser pointer has mode-select le-
ver on the back. There are three
modes available: Laser, Laser
+ Light, Light Only marked with clear
icons on sticker. Laser can be zeroed
by two Torx screws.
The PL-2RL is powered from two
CR123 cells (or rechargeable ones)
placed side-by-side. The battery com-
partment is secured with polymer
flap and metal latch. The laser pointer
decrease the runtime of about 10%.
