go setup and you keep it that way. Maybe some guys who own couple of guns but have just one favorite light will appreciate it, but they should also remem- ber to keep the laser zeroed. For sure, this kind of mount, allows for more comfortable battery re- placement with light taken down from the gun, but hey, nobody is replacing cells during the fire- fight! First thing first. The laser pointer under the body of PL-2RL won't allow you to use most of the hol- sters. The legacy PL-2 matched the dimensions of Streamlight TLR-1, but the "hump" won't fit most of the products available now. Embrace the suck and get UNBOXING. The WML comes in small white cardboard box with plastic insert where the PL-2RL is placed together with two sets of batteries, Torx key and option- al lug for rail mount. The light features same QD mounting system as in other Valkyrie-series products. It's easy and comfortable to use but IMHO, when you are using a handgun with weaponlight, with proper holster, it's your good to a custom kydex holster for it. Press two switches si- multaneously and the disco (strobe) mode is on! The unit I was reviewing had one flaw. When the "Laser Only" mode was selected, during the ac- tivation of the button, a short light flash was activated several times. This was completely unacceptable, but as far as I know, the local distrib- utor of Olight is serious about war- ranty. The white light output is really pow- erful. The manufacturers claim that it provides 1200 lumens output and it seems that the reality is close to that. The beam is focused and strong and allows to illuminate the targets or to blind and distract the threat. The light is white, on the cool side, but it works for me.
