placement allows to utilize them as
simplified thumb rest known from
race guns which improves the weap-
on control.
During my review I have attached PL-
2RL to Glock and fired around 500
rounds. It kept zero, attachment was
stable and no signs of use appeared.
BALDR is exactly what you pay is
what you get type of product. It might
be one of the best weaponlights plus
laser combos available in its budget
category
mens output allowed to illuminate
the target and its surroundings. In
CQB scenarios, it works even better.
In low-power mode (400 lumens), the
performance is lower, but target will
be still illuminated enough for proper
identification. Could be better, but it
still 200 lumens more than in legacy
PL-2.
The red laser pointer output is typical
for this price category. In the clear
night with moonlight, the range of the
pointer is far over the effective pistol
range. During cloudy day outside or in
well-lit room aiming point is still visi-
ble. Problems are starting to appear
in sunny days – ten meters is all you
can get.
People using IWB holsters can like
the shape of PL-2RL as it looks much
more smoother than most of weap-
onlights powered with two CR123
cells. Even the red laser pointer on
the bottom, with proper holster, will
not print on the outside.
Shooting with PL-2RL is easy. Am-
bidextrous control buttons will even
make the southpaws happy. Their
