This big player had a really huge booth during the tradeshow with hundreds of different products on the display. From
our point of view, the most important were just two of them. First was the SIG Sauer MPX Cooperhead, the ultra-short
(and ultra-ugly to be honest) version of 9 mm MPX with 3.5" barrel and 14.5" overall length. SIG had never acknowled-
ged that, but it seems Copperhead was developed as US Army Sub Compact Weapon program submission.
Another neat product was the prototype of .338 Norma Magnum SLMAG machine gun developed accordingly to the
USSOCOM requirements. It was designed as a multi-caliber weapon and might be quickly converted to more common
7.62x51 NATO cartridge. A day before the SHOT, some lucky bastards were lucky enough to take a closer look on
SLMAG during the invitation-only event. We only had a chance to see it behind the glass.
Behind the glass were also the SIG P365 and SIG MPX Carbine from the latest part of John Wick movie customized by
Taran Tactical Innovations. We were able to snap some pics without the glass!
