OUTPUT & INPUT PL-Mini 2 features powerful 600 lumens output (2,500 candelas) cool-white light CREE XP-L HD CW LED. Effective throw is approximately 100 meters. It must be mentioned that you get full power only for a minute. After that it powers down to 60 lumens to protect from overheating. When cooled down, it be turned in full power mode again. It can be turned on and off until battery's dead. Beam is bright, with wide central spill and pretty good flood area. For the typical "pistol distance" it is more than enough. The 260mAh lithium-polymer rechargeable battery is permanently installed inside the housing. There is magnetic charging slot on the bottom of the housing, so it can be charged on the gun. The USB magnetic charger comes with the kit. If battery level is below 10%, the red LED on the left will start to blink. Runtime is around 60 minutes on full charge. Permanently installed battery restricts use of the weaponlight to the areas where it can be easily charged. Sure, it can be charged from power bank or solar panel, but it will take time. CONTROLS Small ambidextrous on/off switches are located on the back of the housing as in the previous version. It is constant/ momentary on and off. No low/ medium/high/strobe modes to choose from. Click to activate/ deactivate or press for a second for momentary on. WHAT'S IN THE BOX Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie comes in the box with very short manual, alternative keys, charger, screws and screwdriver. It is available in Black and Desert Sand colors. IN USE I've been using the Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie for couple months now. Bullet count is around 500. In my opinion it might be a great weaponlight for compact and sub-compact pistols. The separated rail adapter allows to adjust the placement and distance and tailor it to the pistol. The side lock is huge, when compared to overall dimensions of the light. It could be replaced with small flat screw since, charging does not require to remove the light off the gun. ACCESSORIES
