overlays. This is a risky move, as creating grooves as such translates into loss of universal ergonomics. This is compromised for better tailoring to a specif- ic hand size. Luckily however, in case of Olight Seek- er 2 Pro the cuts are shallow enough not to create a discomfort for a person whose hands do not match the pattern. A worry may emerge that any rubber-like material is less resistant to wear than aluminum. It may turn out that the rubberized part could crack or show signs of wear in 3 to 4 years. Or will it? We will see. Seeker 2 Pro fits the hand well, with a reliable grip when the so called foil grip is used that creates a per- fect place for thumb to press the button, as well as in case of hammer-reversed grip, used in some circum- stances when the flashlight is used with a gun. The button covered with a silicone-like material used to switch the flashlight on or off and to change the mode of operation has been placed on the side, right behind the head. It is easy to find it using one's finger, without looking. The switch used has a well-defined hardness and a distinct click. The blue ring around the button features eight small holes housing green diodes (four on the right and four on the right). The right row indicates the battery charge, the left, mean- while, serves as a mode indicator. Olight Seeker 2 Pro is watertight and meets the IPx8 norm requirements. It should withstand immersion in water at depth of 50 centimeters for more than 30 minutes. ACCESSORIES
