founded in 2000 by Dana Gleason and Renee Sippel-
Baker, which are now for more than 40 years in the indu-
stry. The company is famous of their amazing, well-desi-
gned and durable packs used by military forces around
the globe, firefighters, hunters and hikers.
The one of the features that sets the MR packs apart
are the tri-zip closure system and the Futura Harness
suspension system.
If you would ask about most popular and best-known
packs, the 3 Day Assault Pack aka DAP would be the
simplest answer. It's famous because of its durability
and tri-zip design. Useless as a EDC pack but perfect for
tactical and outdoor use. Based on the 3DAP is simpler
little brother, 2 Day Assault Pack, the scaled down ver-
sion for your everyday urban missions.

n fact, 2DAP is not just scaled down 3DAP. It was
redesigned with the purpose of everyday use which
is completely different than the outdoor use. 3DAP was
30 liters (1800 cubic inches) and 2DAP is 27 liters (1648
cu in). The dimensions of the 3DAP were ~56 x 34 x 28
cm and the 2DAP is just tad smaller, ~53 x 30 x 28 cm.
Some weight was shaved off, 3DAP was 2.08 kg and
2DAP is just 1.36 kg.
