GROT rizontal in model and vertical in GROT). They are not interchange- able. Cam pin, firing pin and firing pin retainer pin remained similar. Bolt carrier groups are basically unchanged. The recoil spring as- sembly is inserted into the rear of the bolt carrier. The main differen- ce is the distance between recoil spring guide rod and bolt carrier buffer. There is also a notch in the front upper of the recoil spring guide rod connected with a semi- -circular opening in the bolt carrier. There is also an additional notch in the lower part of the bolt car- rier rear of 2008 concept model. It was placed there because of the different shape of both lower and upper receivers, so the BCG rema- ins locked inside. In theory, this still allows gun to operate even if the stock adapter is detached. In GROT, BCG is inserted without any additional locks. Another dif- ference was an effect of changed connection between receiver and stock adapter in GROT. There is a notch in the rear with a button, which holds everything in place. The 2008 concept model rear is just flat. BARRELS The MSBS 2008 concept model had an unfluted barrel and sim- ple muzzle device. It has a simple bayonet lug compatible with US M7-style bayonets fixed with a le- ver mechanism and a muzzle ring . Final GROT features its proprie- tary bayonet fixing solution with lever mechanism in the barrel and Barrel with gas regulator and piston Handguard Bayonet lug Barrel housing Details of upper received Details of upper received www.fragoutmag.com
