I didn't not test the pack very exten- sively. It was more like every day carry pack, range pack or outdoor pack and I can say it's really universal. Some would say that universal means not good enough for anything. Bullshit! I live al- most on the city outskirts and I really don't need anything bigger than AMP12. I stash it in my trunk, I ride with it on my bike. Fits the shooting range, fits the car- ry-on baggage overhead compartment too. Works great everyday. AMP FTW! PETER S. & HIS STORY I was using my AMP12 in different places and in different weather condi- tions. But the primary use was carrying shorty AR-15 SBR here in Poland. The velour lined interior of the main chamber allows for personalization of the pack. The rectangular-ish semi-rigid design will keep the documents safe if used in an EDC role. The fabric is rugged enough to withstand wear and tear. My AMP is solid Black but the color and texture of the fabric are resistant to dirt, dust and even blood. My pack was also carried on winter mountain trek with snowshoes and it was terribly comfortable. The internal hydration compartment is awesome. The clamshell-style opening allows for great organization of carried gear and easy access to the items. The pack also has some "hidden" (at the first sight) pockets and compartments, so if you want to hide something, you're good to go with this pack. The main zipper al- lows for easy access from almost every side of the pack. There are two compres- sions straps on each side of the main compartment too. The semi-rigid thermoformed back panel with tunnel for improved ventila- tion works really well. The profiled shoul- der straps have an additional sternum strap for carrying heavier loads. There is also a hidden external pocket on the main flap lined with Velcro hooks. It was meant for concealed carry of a handgun. The pack is not waterproof, but the dense fabric protects carried equipment against the rain even for extended time. For every day work it would be a great one-day pack. Even when fully stuffed, it was still comfortable to carry. Szaly 5.11 AMP EQUIPMENT
