WB GROUP WB Group was one of the Polish GSOF Symposium 2021 partners - the company is a leading supplier of communica- tion systems and UAVs in Poland. Solutions offered by the WB Group have been used for years by the Polish Armed Forces, SOF component included. The group of foreign customers receiving the WB Group's products is also be- coming far more expansive. The event was an opportunity for the WB Group to present its latest UAV and elements of the U-GATE Personal Command and Surveillance Sys- tem - a C4ISR-E(xtended) solution used for enhancing the situational awareness of an individual soldier on the bat- tlefield. The system in question also makes it possible to autonomously control loitering PGMs. WB Group also pre- sented the personal PERAD 6010 radios, integrated within the U-GATE solution. PCO PCO S.A. was the second of the Polish symposium partners – this company belonging to the state-owned PGZ Group defense industry holding, offering night vision and thermal imaging solutions. MZN-1T Modular Night Vision/Thermal System is the most interesting of the PCO's offerings for SOF. The said product was premiered during the MSPO 2021. It may be used either as a monocular, or goggle sys- tem. One of the monoculars may be replaced with a thermal imaging system, utilizing the very same bridge. MZN-1T has been developed through close collaboration with former SOF operators. DSG DSG Technology is a Norwegian small arms ammunition supplier. There are numerous manufacturers of firearms ammunition. However, the DSG's products are unique - we are speaking of supercavitation rounds designed for un- derwater use, or to be fired against targets underwater. Conventional ammunition loses its speed in water rapidly, due to the resistance emerging when the bullet needs to push the water, as well as the viscosity and friction of liquid. The supercavitation involves the creation of a gas bubble surrounding the object traveling through water. The DSG Technology rounds come in two variants: A2 - for shooting against targets that are traveling underwater, but with the shots being taken from the surface, and X2 - for shooting targets underwater, in a completely submerged setting. The phenomenon used here allows the user to effectively neu- tralize targets at a distance of up to 60 meters. This has been made possible thanks to the specially designed pro- jectiles that create a gas bubble around them, once they leave the muzzle. REPORT
