so it is basically a "demo" of what needs to be done by competitors in the classic, buddy-team only option. It was nice to see some ve- terans of previous editions here at Solo – clever bastards come here to do a reconnaissance and that is beautiful – competition begins long before we officially start. Our competition strongly promotes suppressors use. Firstly, it is time to say goodbye to the compensators, they make a lot of noise that makes shooting uncomfortable. Secondly, suppressed weapons make local people who are living around the shooting ranges look at them and any activities that rely on the sho- oting, a little more merciful. Last reason is that the classic version of our competition requires firing also at night, and we don't have to wake the whole neighborhood just because we need to "perform the task", right? ;) What makes it worth participa- ting in this competition? Above all – that is not standard shooting competition. Here game is on from the moment we start, whole way to the end, there are no brakes, no waiting for the sta- ge to be available. You must think about setting up your weapon with sights, put up good kit and pack your backpack properly long befo- re competition starts. You need to be constantly in good shape not to run out of "gas" in the middle of the competition. Shooting skill set must be on a good level – if you don't have enough experience your scores might be lower than average. I think that this is one of the fundamental reasons why that competition is so attractive – they are simply complex. While compe- ting you will be doing land naviga- tion, search for exact spots, shoot, climb, crawl and fire machine gun. Currently they are the most milita- ry themed shooting competition in Poland. Even the Military itself do- esn't do one like that. www.fragoutmag.com
