Specshop.pl – despite being small shop with big stock, they are sup- porting generously to make starter package more attractive Ginger's Tactical Gear – l o c a l sponsor of the local event, militaria.pl – everybody knows who they are but it's good to know they are also supporting this event, Frag Out! – media sponsor of event. Magazine made by experts and very passionate people who not only type but do some running and gunning wearing weird clothes. When will you finally make it here? WMASG – also an event media sponsor. It's nice to know that sho- oting and airsoft communities are interacting with each other at some levels. Lekka Piechota Han Solo in participant eyes Organizers moved competitors to the stages, where we were planning on doing 24 but finally, we did 23 of them. Shooters were divided into "squads" and placed every second stage so generally there were no stopping points apart from a few exceptions. Life had few surprises waiting so on my first course my AR became a musket. At the beginning I started to blame my new silencer – Valhal- la Thor 2 CQB thinking that it just sucks but later it became clear that it was "his" fault, I will write about it in a moment. Following stages went a little nervously (trying to figure out what to do with my rifle) and were not done too nicely. Luckily, it started from pistol stages where my lack of experience showed up. Later stage on the roof top and wall where my "musket" did well enough. KSI has a very interesting approach to time as it is – mostly you had three minutes to complete your task and it didn't matter if you did it in one or three minutes – accu- rate shots were important. It is not typical of that type of competition so you gotta have it at the back of your head because if not you will do things too quickly like I did. Unfor- tunately, on the next course named "Wahadło" (Pendulum) my single shot and AR took all the fun away. Fortunately, the rest of the com- petition was saved for me by a 15 minute technical break, without it I was ready to call it off and go home. Field stripping the weapon didn't show anything so as a team we made the decision that we have to check the gas block and that was it. After disassembling it almost completely we noticed a loose gas block that was causing problems - standing ovation. Quick assembly and it was a semi-auto- matic AR once again so I could enjoy my Thor too. Euphoria after fixing it and the fact that out of three loopholes I shot two without hitting the paper, reset my course so I could continue to compete. REPORT
