About less obvious conclusions are the outcome that is recognized as most popular „50 meters zero" (in case of red dot sights) used in quick shooting without taking any adjustments loses with „zero at 35". It comes from the fact that second one's POI lacement, having bigger differences at the distances in between, still does not require adjusting point of aim at the 300 meters and al- lows to hit 30 cm steel plate aiming in the center while it cannot be done with the zeroed sight at 50 meters. To be perfectly fair – shooting accurately, peacefully witho- ut any time pressure utilizing the scope's reticle having zero at 50 or 100 meters will give better results, but we were treating the subject in reference to dynamic, not precision shooting and here "TC zero" seems to be not a bad idea. Shooter that uses LVPO has a very easy job because he can calibrate the sight at 50 or 100 meters and then using turret check and remember what kind of setting his rifle holds zero at 35 meters. Then he can only choose the setting suited better for the firing task. During the course I was using a .223 Fabryka Broni GROT with 14,5-inch barrel and EOTech VUDU 1-6x24. That set up allows you to hit a steel plate target at the 300 meters range and use two mentioned zeroes. People took to the training a wide variety of rifles equipped with the same variety of scopes so that made a perfect opportunity to exchange the experiences and being able to check chosen set up in practice. www.fragoutmag.com www.fragoutmag.com
