What were the conclusions? Some more, some less obvious. Counted as an obvious one, LVPO beats any red dot with a magnifier for about a mile for shooting at the range of 100 meters and above. In that case you can pretty much use maximum 6x magnification that Łasuch tre- ats as optimal (sure, there are scopes that have 8x and 10x magnification but that is a little overkill for that type of shooting). Field of view is sufficient and 6x magnification allows to hit a 30 cm steel plate without any trouble from 300 meters – unfortunately we did not fire from 400 due to the limitation of out range but 400 meters (and above) is a borderline of accurate fire for weapon platforms with 14,5" or shorter barrel using standard ammunition (we used 55 gr). Secondly, at the shorter distance of cour- se the red dot with the magnifier is the king, because that last one can always be flipped to the side (or down, users of Unity Tactical FAST mounts know the drill) if the target has popped up at close range. In case of LVPO that adjustment cannot be performed so qu- ickly and that is why scope needs to back up offset iron sights or micro red dots. TRAINING
