Brand new SOG-LE rifles in 5.56 and .300 BLK variants are short-stroke
operated with the proprietary piston system designed specifically for
them. Rifles feature side charging handles which may be moved from left
to right making the rifle fully ambidextrous. Charging handle is
non-reciprocating and it will not move back and forth during shooting.
If such a requirement emerges, SOG is able to deliver 5.56 and .300 BLK
rifles with Direct Impingement gas system (DI, as in the typical AR-15 de-
rivative).
SOG-LE rifles are fitted with adjustable stock featuring large and thick rub-
ber butt pad for increased stability during shooting. Stock is placed on a
tube but totally different than in standard AR rifles. Stock is perfectly
matching the unique, bold and slightly futuristic shape of the gun. Stock
and handguard will have the QD carrying sling sockets integrated into de-
sign.
The proprietary handguard from 6061-T6/7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum
has full length top and bottom MIL-STD-1913/Picatinny rail for optics,
sensors and accessories attachment and M-LOK slots on the sides for
