PGZ's Defense Contracts During Q1, performance contracts, in collaboration with/imple- mented for Raytheon Technologies were finalized, in Phase I of the Wisła program. Within the framework of those contracts, all 16 M903 launchers were manufactured, along with 9 support equipment sets. Timely finalization of the agreements led to the beginning of the hand-off procedure concerning the first two Pa- triot air/missile defense system batteries, as per the schedule adopted by the Polish Armed Forces. Letter Of Intent on establishing competencies at selected PGZ companies, so that they would be able to manufacture the LTAMDS radar components and assemblies during Wisła Phase II, signed with Raytheon Technologies, was another step taken here, along with a memorandum on commercial projects signed in September, and performance contracts signed during the MSPO event. The agreement on the delivery of Bystra radars was signed on 29th March this year, by and between the PGZ-PILICA+ consortium, and the Armament Agency. Within the framework of the agreement, 22 radar sets, with a simulator and a training package, are to be delivered. The provisions of that agreement assume it is to be finalized by October 2028. The order has a value of almost 1.11 bn. zlotys. The conclusion of the performance contract on the delivery of 22 combined Pilica+ SAM/AAA systems for the Polish Armed Forces was another step taken, within the framework of the Pili- ca+ program. The order had a value of almost PLN 3 billion. The PGZ-Pilica+ consortium and the Armament Agency signed anoth- er performance contract in December, concerning the Jelcz base platform, and the iLauncher launcher unit integration. Deliveries of the first, series-manufactured PSRA Pilica systems were completed in late November (delivery of the 4th, 5th, and 6th system, namely a prototype, after being tailored for series-manu- facturing). This means that the Armed Forces have received all of the VSHORAD assets ordered in November 2016. Combat/experimental missile launches involving the "Little Narew" air defense system were successful too. The PGZ Group deliv- ered this asset within the framework of implementing another air defense domain program. – We have witnessed a historic event. It was historic because up until now, the air missile defense sys- tem was working differently. What we had so far, was entirely dif- ferent, and belonged to an old era – Minister Mariusz Błaszczak said, during the event. Within the framework of the Narew program, performance con- tracts were signed at MSPO, regarding the acquisition of Narew system SHORAD SAM assets. Agreement was also signed with MBDA UK, on delivery of missile and launcher components for the Narew system, and on a transfer of know-how and technologies, within the scope of manufacturing those assets. The agreement, which is viewed as an extension of the cooperation undertaken so far will allow the PGZ Group companies of the PGZ-Narew consortium to manufacture the Narew system elements. Recent- ly the consortium also concluded an agreement on delivery and maintenance of 24 P18-PL long-range radars. ANALYSIS
