POF-USA P-415 has 10.5" nitri-
de heat-treated 4150 CrMoV steel,
heavy-profile barrel with 1;:7 twist.
It has 1 ⁄ 2-28 thread with a triple
port muzzle device that controls
gas dispersion and reduces muzzle
rise. The rifle gas system features
a 5-stage gas regulator (with two
standard, two suppressed and shut
off settings) and patented oversi-
zed heat sink barrel nut is one of
the most significant innovations.
At three inches long it completely
encompasses the chamber and
throat area of the barrel where
expanding gas temperatures peak.
The chamber also is interesting.
P-415 features E2 dual-extrac-
tion technology, which is based
on the idea of Revelli grooves, but
consists of four small channels
cut into the walls of the chamber
allowing a small amount of gas
pressure to push against the neck
