they are all made at the highest level.
The tool kit is definitely better and more
versatile than in the P4 (which is signifi-
cantly cheaper), and the general concept
with the magnetic lock and tool layout
has been retained. The use of MagnaCut
steel for the blade is also an undeniable
advantage, making the difference be-
tween the ARC and other Leatherman
tools, even from the series with better
blades, significantly inferior to it.
All in all, definitely a great tool, one of the
nicer and more thoughtful in the Leather-
man stables, but saddled with a prohib-
itive price. Is it worth it? I don't know, it
already has to be an individual decision
with consideration of "pros" and "cons".
If I had to choose between the P4 and the
ARC, it wasn't an obvious decision, and I
would hesitate to pay more, with a high
probability that I would pay extra, how-
ever, because the ARC is simply much
better than the P4. However, if you don't
care about the functionality of the FREE
series, it's better to just buy some Leath-
erman classics.
