Last but not least – the GROT .308 S20 is ship- ped in an Explorer case. Yes, in a case, not a flim- sy plastic suitcase like the „small" GROT, but in a full-fledged transport case – airtight, and rugged, equipped with wheels, handles, and foam lining. Of course, the rifle is primarily for shooting, so the GROT .308 S20 simply has to shoot accura- tely. We know from people who shoot this we- apon extensively that its accuracy falls within the 0.7-1.5 MOA, depending on the ammunition, and it allows for effective engagement of targets at distances extending 600+ meters. And that is precisely the task of a DMR, because the .308 GROT is indeed a DMR, not a precision long-ran- ge rifle, as those are primarily bolt-action rifles with significantly longer barrels Will the GROT .308 S20 be a market success? I don't know, time will tell. As I mentioned ear- lier, a slight price reduction would certainly im- prove sales figures, but there will definitely be a group of shooters who will just buy it as a must have in their collection. A smart way to increase sales will certainly be the release of additional parts– a shorter barrel, a shorter handguard, lower receivers in other colors (perhaps also allowing the use of triggers from the ARs), stocks, etc. – it is a modular rifle, like the entire MSBS system, so this feature should simply be exploited. Subsequently, co- nversions to other calibers could also be cre- ated. We will have to wait a while for the market's re- action and we will probably see the first sho- oter's reviews soon.. The FRAG OUT MSPO 2024 edition features a comprehensive article in which Jarosław Walczuk describes the GROT .308, which he used for 4 years, in considerable detail, and we will try to publish a larger article about this weapon in the near future.
