From January 9th to 12th, 2025, the inaugural iteration of the Austere Emergency Care (AEC)
course convened. This event was organized by Eagle-Med System, a highly respected and
NAEMT-certified training center under the leadership of Robert Jędrych. The College of
Remote and Offshore Medicine (CoROM), an institution specializing in medical education for
extreme environments, served as the training partner. Notably, this course held certification
under the U.S. Specialized Medical Standard, underscoring its high caliber and international
recognition within the realm of tactical medicine.
