The safety lever is basically same as in the AK or Beryl 96C but it has small but comfortable plat- form which allows for switching with right hand index finger. South paws will be uncomfortable with it and it also does not help when shooting from supporting aka weak hand. Well, it's just an- other AK variant and this thing cannot be easily fixed. Stock is step forward or, honestly speaking one step forward and half step back. The M762 has plastic four-position collapsible stock but the rec- tangular-shaped guide is not compatible with an- ything else. Nowadays, the commercial market is full of almost all kind of AK variants upgrades and the AR-style stocks could be easily fitted on Beryl too. It is huge improvement over the AK stock or Beryl early versions stocks but it is not something you would call a good stock. It does not have ad- justable cheek piece so the sights are pretty high and shooting is not as comfortable as it could be. Beryl M762 is still Beryl 96C with all of its pros and cons. Even it uses the 7.62x39 rounds it con- trollable and the rifle has surprisingly light recoil or muzzle jump.
