selected and the negotiations with terrorists were started. Finally, due to the high number of hostages and no progress in negotiations, the headquarters of the operation started preparations to solve the crisis situation by force. The next stage of training in simulated conditions took place on 8th June 2016. Terrorists attacked metro train and took a high number of hostages in subway cars. Several hostages alarmed police services via the emergency phone number. The police forces ordered to take action together with officers of subway security started evacuation of all people in the subway and in its proximity. Similarly to the previous episode, the first stage of actions performed by officers resulted in saving some of the hostages. However, after some time, the negotiations brought no results. On that time, a decision was made to enter the subway and free the hostages. Police officers immediately and efficiently started an attack, overwhelmed the terrorists, and evacuated the freed hostages. The scenario assumed that during combat actions taken in both episodes several officers were killed and some hostages and police officers were injured. Aid for the injured was provided by the medical team from the BOA that used the so-called triage method. That method helped medical services in classifying the injured by the degree of injuries .It helped in efficient performance of emergency actions under conditions of a mass event. Each of the episodes included about 400 helpers and over 230 officers. REPORT
