Power source: two CR123 3V batteries placed in the back by opening the back flap, which is additionally secured with a safety pin. Lifetime: nominal lifetime of 1.5 hour – it seems too short, but one must remember that the flashlight has twice brighter light that in the case of competitive flashlights. Olight PL-1 Valkyrie The size of it seems impressive just at the first glance – it is really small, while, still, has the power and ca- pacity of larger flashlights, even of those powered by two cells. It is a new construction, so thorough tests will be available after several months, when the product gets adapted in the market. At the begin- ning, however, it is possible to claim that its price and availability are its eminent advantage. Size and construction: everything is made of an- odized aluminum, but the texture is slightly more coarse than in the case of e.g. TLR-1. Dimensions: 78 x 31 x 38 mm Weight: according to the producer: with batteries it amounts 105 g, according to my scales: 101 g. Attachment: with the rail, which, on one side, is pressed with a lever with eccentric cam – that lever causes my largest objections. It is the most protrud- ing element of the whole construction. Without it, the whole flashlight would not even protrude be- yond the edge of the weapon (like Glock 17).
