A dynamic of the such activities, effort, countless scenarios of the exercises con- stitute a perfect place and time to test this technology in the conditions that require an intensive activity where moisture wicking and breathability are of a crucial impor- tance for ensuring comfort. HAIX Nepal Pro GTX® footwear, that is the latest model in- troduced by the France's Armée de Terre as Chaussures de Combat Centre Europe (i.e. Combat Footwear [for] Central Europe), constitute "heavy weights" among a range of the desert boots with GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort technol- ogy. In this case, it is crucial to guarantee the best stabiliza- tion and security for feet in the situations of the long-term load in the harsh and demanding area what our testers, trekkers and enthusiasts of the mountain expeditions will test during the next few months. This w What distinguishes Meindl Equator Alpha GTX® footwear from the remaining ones is a highly breathable three-layer upper laminate without a separate inner lining which ap- plication results in their real desert nature. The test team will check up if they deserve for their name and if GORE- TEX® Extended Comfort really allows for their comfortable wearing at the temperatures above 30°C. As it is noticeable the task is not easy, three cult brands of the tactical boots featuring GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort technology and tens (if not hundreds) of kilo- meters behind us. Will they meet our expectations and "demystify" a summer season for the footwear with GORE- TEX® membrane? We will see. En avant! FOOTWEAR
