The pleasantly profiled casing with large, convenient button that is easily palpable and easy-to-operate is for me a quintessence of functionality. The body of this flashlight is made from the materials, which at the first glance seem to call: "I'm Indestructible!". The surface of the body is rough, what greatly simplifies life when we manipulate with the light by means of the wet or dirty gloves. It also helps with the mount- ing on the rifle, which – while we are about it – is trivially simply, intuitive and does not require any additional tools. The perfectly fitted elements and a good quality seal that secures the cell constitute a guarantee that nothing undesired will not get to its inside and does not interrupt operating of its electronics that con- trols the flashlight. The mentioned-above sealing is supposed to guarantee its waterproof up to a depth of 20 meters. So far, there was no opportunity to "sink" the WML™ in order to test it by myself. As a right-handed person I have mounted the flash- light on the right side of the mount rail on a perma- nent basis, what enables me to switch it on or off easily by a thumb of my left hand. I can do that with- out any problems in the gloves, as a surface of the button is corrugated and easily palpable. WML gen- erates a light beam with an output of 400 lumens. During a night shooting I convinced myself that they are not just empty promises. The light beam is reliable, consistent and illuminates the targets well. The WML itself when mounted on the rifle looks as it was and integrated, fixed element of the weapon, what evidences a good design based on my favor- ite K.I.S.S. principle. It has never happened to me to hook against something with it while operating the weapon at the shooting range (great advantage for the above-mentioned streamline casing). Similarly, as during transport – the flashlight makes absolute- ly any problems when the rifle is put on the PELI. I can also say that it is sling-resistant – pursuant to the Murphy's Laws it was supposed to get caught up in the belt, but nothing like that has happened so far. An additional advantage of the flashlight is its weight – entire 85 grams with the battery gives a very good result, in particular when while configur- ing the rifle we want to save any weight. It becomes extremely important at the end of the training day when after several hours in the full equipment our muscles treat any weapon lifting and leveling to a shot as a challenge. www.fragoutmag.com
